What are the top places in Washington DC for children.?

My kids (9 and 6) loved the Smithsonian Air % Space Museum, the I-Max theater, Natural History Museum and planetarium. The zoo was only fair. They also were impressed by the Lincoln Memorial, and the FDR memorial (lots of fountains and statues).Hope this is helpful.

The kids enjoyed Ford's Theatre and the house where Lincoln died just across the street. The FBI bldg., the Smithsonian, the Mint. The White House and the Capitol, Lincoln, Washington and Jefferson Memorials. The fairly new Roosevelt Memorial is impressive. So much more to see.
